The first venture between chef Ian Gresik and his wife, Nancy Gresik, The Arbour fulfills the couple’s long-held dream. Though he may be a newcomer to restaurant ownership, Ian Gresik is well-versed in the culinary scene, having done stints at the highly lauded Los Angeles eatery Drago Centro, as well as the award-winning Patina Restaurant.
Gresik strives to use only organic, local, and fresh ingredients with on-point presentation in carefully crafted entrées like smoked duck breast, dramatically served in a dome of actual smoke. And we recommend finishing on a high note with the Baked California, Gresik’s take on the classic Baked Alaska, his updated version consisting of a frozen candied almond cream covered in meringue, flambéed with dark rum.
