At Frida Tacos, lights hang low from the ceiling, illuminating the colorful mural of luchadores and other components of central Mexican culture that transport visitors to a walk-up taqueria. Customers watch flames roar behind the counter as the aromatic flavors of Mexico fill the air while their made to order Mexican feast is cooked before them.

Hidden on Colorado Boulevard, Frida Tacos has been serving an authentic Cali-Mex sizzling selection of marinated beef, grilled and mole chicken, pork carnitas, and pescado for over 10 years. Frida Tacos many meat options are enjoyed as tacos, burritos, sopes, tortas, gorditas, quesadillas, nachos or enchiladas.

The restaurant’s new low carb option allows customers to swap a tortilla for a lettuce wrap or substitute any meat for veggies.
