Things To Do Around Southern California This Week

Community Science as Liberation

Community science has long been a way for communities to wield their own power for environmental, medical, and educational justice. When community science projects are built by centering the ideas of liberation, reclamation and justice they become a powerful path to decolonizing learning and how we approach our relationship with the land.

This family-friendly talk will be followed by a hands-on activity for those of all ages.
