Community Science as Liberation
Community science has long been a way for communities to wield their own power for environmental, medical, and educational justice. When community science projects are built by centering the ideas of liberation, reclamation and justice they become a powerful path to decolonizing learning and how we approach our relationship with the land.
This family-friendly talk will be followed by a hands-on activity for those of all ages.

Walking Tour of Pasadena: Grand Avenue
As my fellow tour guide, historian Eric Evavold, and I delight in bringing you new walking tours of the Pasadena area, we invite you to explore with us the historic neighborhood of Grand Avenue, right below the Colorado Street Bridge. We’ll view and discuss stunning examples of historic architecture from Victorian to Arts and Crafts to Romantic Revivals, including the works of Charles and Henry Greene, Myron Hunt, and others. Our tour will include a visit to the Vista del Arroyo Hotel (now a U.S. Court of Appeals courthouse).

Day 3: Unveiling the mind of a great sleeper
Day 4: Rapid relief. How to flip the switch off so you can go to bed easier.
Day 5: Healthy habits and the power of rituals
By the end of this workshop you will be able to develop a personalized sleep plan with tips and tricks to combat sleep issues when they arise. Not only will you learn how to get more restful sleep, but also how to reduce stress/anxiety and get your life back.
