How to Still Enjoy Pasadena Symphony and POPS From Home
The beat won’t stop for the Pasadena Symphony and POPS. The organization has started several online initiatives that are accessible via pasadenasymphony-pops.org, Facebook, and Youtube.
Play at Home with the POPS
Michael Feinstein and the Pasadena POPS orchestra can’t wait to be back at the Arboretum, lavishing under the stars to the sounds of the Great American Songbook. Until then, the POPS is unearthing gems from their vault of star-studded performances each week. bit.ly/POPSYouTubePlaylist
Pasadena Symphony In Conversation
Tune in weekly for the Pasadena Symphony’s video podcast, hosted by Music Director David Lockington and violist and composer Brett Banducci. They’ll welcome fellow musicians, conductors, composers and all who make the music happen in a casual discussion about the evolving classical music landscape, plus special live performances. bit.ly/PasadenaSymphonyInConversation
PYSO at Home
Weekly music education instruction has moved online, with coaches offering Pasadena Youth Symphony Orchestra (PYSO) students weekly virtual lessons. Sessions are open to students in the Pasadena Unified School District. If you have a musician at home who would like to participate, please contact Alex Chu (achu@pasadenasymphony-pops.org) or stay tuned for weekly updates of a selection of lessons to the Symphony’s Youtube channel each week. bit.ly/PYSOatHome.
