It would be impossible to be familiar with Pasadena Magazine and not be familiar with the humor and heart of Lian Dolan. She has been a regular columnist and contributor, nearly since our inception, shining a light on what makes life in Pasadena a singular, and often very funny experience. As you’ll read in her coming column in our June 2020 issue, a new novel, however talented the author, is no match for a novel virus.
While the release of Dolan’s second book, The Sweeney Sisters, unfortunately coincided with the onslaught of the Covid19 pandemic, she is making the best of a bad situation. If you’ve been lamenting a lack of a book tour and the opportunity to discuss her latest creation, worry no longer. Tuesday, April 28th at 6:00pm Dolan will be discussing the Sweeney Sisters, and undoubtedly much else of relevance as well, with international best-selling author Susan Wiggs, on-line in an event presented by Vroman’s Live.
