It would be impossible to be familiar with Pasadena Magazine and not be familiar with the humor and heart of Lian Dolan. She has been a regular columnist and contributor, nearly since our inception, shining a light on what makes life in Pasadena a singular, and often very funny experience. As you’ll read in her coming column in our June 2020 issue, a new novel, however talented the author, is no match for a novel virus.
While the release of Dolan’s second book, The Sweeney Sisters, unfortunately coincided with the onslaught of the Covid19 pandemic, she is making the best of a bad situation. If you’ve been lamenting a lack of a book tour and the opportunity to discuss her latest creation, worry no longer. Tuesday, April 28th at 6:00pm Dolan will be discussing the Sweeney Sisters, and undoubtedly much else of relevance as well, with international best-selling author Susan Wiggs, on-line in an event presented by Vroman’s Live. Don’t miss what is sure to be an inspiring and mirthful discussion between two very talented and insightful writers. In times like these who can’t use a little insight…and even more mirth.
