Known as one of Pasadena’s go-to restaurants for quality cuts (and one of the only restaurants in Southern California that serve exclusively USDA Prime beef), the Arroyo Chop House has stood strong among the Shelter-in-Place directive.
While the cozy, intimate interior of the restaurant may have been closed, many Pasadenans enjoyed the upscale eatery’s delicious fare in the comfort of their home thanks to its curated to-go menu that offered steaks and Wagyu cuts to satisfy carnivorous cravings, and sides including Original A.C.H. Mac and Cheese. For the home cook seeking out a “cook-it-yourself” option during the directive, Arroyo Chop House opened a virtual gourmet grocery and wine shop (for pick-up and delivery).
While there is certainly something to be cherished about enjoying five-star dining from the comfort of one’s pajamas, we look forward to dining in and indulging in Arroyo Chop House’s full extensive menu featuring its quality cuts and market-fresh seafood, imbibing its libations (a generous selection of wine, beer, and expertly handcrafted cocktails), as well as savoring mouth-watering desserts made on-site by the Smith Brothers Restaurants’ own pastry chef.
