Foothill has established itself as a hip new restaurant with a stylishly modern yet rustic setting serving up New American dishes. At minimum, half of their many tables are full during lunch hour on a weekday, and weekend brunch also sees its fair share of crowds.
It’s well worth the wait during busy times as the food won’t disappoint. From creative plating to ingredients, Foothill keeps it fresh. Salads boast fresh fruits and vegetables while the signature drinks dazzle in design. The El Pomelo is adorned by a mini pineapple made of an orange peel and basil, the Rose Bowl is served with rose petals, and the bourbon whiskey is also a popular pick.
Their most popular cuisine items include deviled eggs, the charcuterie board, and Portabella fries for “in the beginning” as it states in their menu, along with coffee-braised short rib and chicken and waffles for entrees. For a sweet finish, top it off with their key lime tart for dessert.
If these popular, meaty entrees aren’t to your taste, Foothill offers a wide array of vegetarian, vegan, and keto-friendly meals as well. The Boston Bibb Salad offers a flavorful twist on meatless dishes, packed with tangerine, almond, scallion, sweet onion and soft herbs paired with orange vinaigrette. The Roasted Mushroom Sandwich is a likewise highly-recommended item with arugula, whipped goat cheese, roasted peppers and tomato jam layered between two warm pieces of sourdough bread.
