Come for the food, but be sure to check out the restaurant’s well-designed digs, too.

Granville, Lake Avenue’s new modern-casual restaurant, not only offers delicious food—it also boasts a well-designed space. Eddie Bitton of Bitton Design Group sought to create an updated interpretation of midcentury-modern architecture and interior design and a rooftop surprise with a festive, Tulum-inspired vibe.

“When guests walk into Granville, I want them to feel as though they are being hosted in a classic Pasadena home, where they can enjoy a festive meal with friends and family,” Bitton says. “The design of the interior was specifically tailored to be a comfortable restaurant experience with a residential twist by utilizing locally curated artwork, custom House of Hackney wallpaper, and hand-crafted black oak dining tables.”

Granville’s plethora of amenities include an indoor-outdoor wraparound bar, a mezzanine perfect for private parties, and a rooftop bar dubbed Bar Del Mar by Granville, with a fireplace, lounge seating, and views of the San Gabriel Mountains. Custom lounge furnishings, lush landscaping, hanging greenery, and decorative lighting and fans add a tropical vibe to the open-air dining area.
