Meat Reigns Supreme At Old Pasadena’s Meat District Co.

While new restaurants are constantly popping up all over town, some of our familiar dining destinations are evolving. Old Pasadena’s Meat District Co. was bought out in 2018 and has been undergoing a transformation that includes launching a new menu with chef Patrick Dickinson (formerly of DTLA’s Faith & Flower).

Dickinson has been working closely with new owner Agasi Gukasyan to create a menu that stays true to the restaurant’s ethos of serving the best quality sustainable ingredients. “We have introduced over 20 new items to the menu and they’ve all been met with glowing reviews,” Gukasyan says.

Menu highlights include diverse charcuterie platter options, grilled Colorado lamb, and lobster linguine. While meat dishes still reign supreme over the menu (the name is Meat District after all), there are several meat-free salad options including the caprese, quinoa, Asian Thai, and squash and beet salad.
