Parkway Grill’s Popular Double Barrel-Aged Cocktails For Takeout

Confined mostly to our homes during this crisis, happy hours and other social opportunities have become a thing of the past. Fortunately, at least when it comes to great cocktails expertly made, there is a solution. Parkway Grill has released its wildly popular Double Barrel-Aged cocktails, now available for takeout in convenient bottles.

The Double Barrel-Aged Old Fashioned and Manhattan represent the pinnacle of these classic cocktails, and are the perfect sippers for a crisis situation. As Mark Brown, bar manager and mixologist for Parkway Grill explains, “Think of it as a twice-elevated cocktail.” Once the recipe is created, he barrel-ages the batch for 36 days followed by an additional 42 days in a different barrel. This allows for the special nuance of the barrel wood to come through.

Just pour over ice with a fresh peel of orange, a couple of Luxardo cherries, or both. Each half-liter bottle makes five or six drinks, depending on your pour.

The Double Barrel-Aged Old Fashioned and Manhattan are bottled to order and available for $49 each at Parkway Grill. Order ahead and pick up curbside.
