Founded by Aaron Weiss, Ben Reiling and Paul Colony, the 6th annual San Marino Motor Classic is a weekend of classic car appreciation at Lacy Park. This must-attend event garners crowds in the thousands, who come from all over to behold the 200+ Brass Era, Depression Era and Post-War luxury and sports cars that will be showcased.
In addition to cars, the weekend provides a trunk full of exciting experiences such as the gala evening, benefitting the University of Southern California Marching Band, who’s annual performance at the show is always a highlight, and the After Glow Party on Sunday, a celebratory event following the awards.
Saturday’s events kick off with an early morning driving tour of Pasadena’s prized architecture, following which collectors will compete for a chance to take home a prize in categories including Best in Show, Most Elegant and Design in Excellence.
The event has benefited numerous community-based organizations over the past years, including the Pas
adena Humane Society & SPCA, the Rotary Club, and, fittingly, the Petersen Automotive Museum.
