Pasadena Identifies Additional Cases of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19)

PASADENA, Calif.—The City of Pasadena Public Health Department (PPHD) has confirmed seven cases of novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Pasadena residents as of March 25th. These cases are likely due to community transmission. Only one case has been hospitalized. Due to patient confidentiality, no other information on confirmed cases will be provided.

PPHD is following up directly with those who have had close contact with these individuals and may be at risk for COVID-19 infection. Close contacts are monitored for signs and symptoms of illness and are quarantined.
