Cisco Home’s Sustainable Design Ethos Is As Beautiful As It Is Responsible.

Local, sustainable, beautiful. They are the three goals that make up a single ideal for Cisco Home—to create inspiring environments that feel good. Environments that not only feel good because they are simple, functional, and comfortable, but also because they are created responsibly, and locally, using reclaimed and sustainable material.

The Cisco Home Pasadena showroom is one of six across California, along with one in New York City. The pieces, designed by self-trained Cisco Pineda and his team, are crafted in Los Angeles. Recently, Cisco interior designer Amanda Overton and Cisco Home completed a major remodel of a 1928 Italian Revival near Huntington Gardens. We asked Overton to tell us about it.

“The entire home was taken down to the studs and rebuilt, while keeping the facade of the home and the general floor plan,” Overton says. “The home is entirely a Cisco Home, with lighting throughout every hall, entry, bath, bedroom, and dining (room) handcrafted in Los Angeles by Cisco’s artisans. The furniture was carefully selected and special-ordered a year in advance with custom fabrics and finishes, all made in Los Angeles.”
