UNIQUE LA
December 1 and 2
With more than 300 sellers participating, shoppers may not have enough time to see everything on offer. Beyond a holiday shopping trip, Unique LA’s weekend event provides a full-on craft market experience, complete with complimentary drinks, workshops, and more. While Unique has branched off to include other cities, its very first market, Unique LA, is known as the largest “buy local” shopping event in the country. uniquemarkets.com

ECHO PARK CRAFT FAIR
December 8 and 9
The eastside is home to numerous creative entrepreneurs, including acclaimed indie designers Beatrice Valenzuela and Rachel Craven, who founded The Echo Park Craft Fair to connect with the local creative community. In its nearly 10-year existence, the fair has expanded beyond its humble backyard beginnings and is currently held at Mack Sennett Studios (technically in Silver Lake). Misnomer aside, the curated fair features work by more than 120 local artists and draws thousands of shoppers. echoparkcraftfair.com

RENEGADE LA
December 8 and 9
Renegade has been hosting its fairs in L.A. since 2009, and each year draws a larger crowd. This winter, the fair returns to Chinatown’s recently revamped Los Angeles State Historic Park and features more than 200 vendors, including ceramists, woodworkers, and indie clothing and jewelry designers. There will also be DIY workshops and local food truck favorites. renegadecraft.com

ARTISANAL LA HOLIDAY MARKET
December 15
This market gives attendees the chance to shop a wide array of sweet and savory treats, custom-crafted home décor, candles, and lifestyle goods from more than 150 makers. Bring the family to enjoy food trucks, snow, Santa, and live music. Though the holiday market is for one day only, stop by an Artisanal LA at the Americana at Brand popup shopping events (Nov. 15 and Dec. 20) for more chances to shop and explore 15-plus indie makers while enjoying live music and DIYs. artisanalla.com
