Porsche x Backdrop
You’ve heard of matching your bag to your shoes, but what about matching your interior walls to your car? To celebrate 75 years of Porsche, Los Angeles-based paint and wall covering company Backdrop, has teamed up with the iconic car brand to create a limited-edition paint palette, designed for the home. The Porsche x Backdrop paint collection ($75/gallon) features four of Porsche’s signature bright hues: Irish Green, Speed Yellow, Ruby Star and Riviera Blue. backdrophome.com

Groundfloor
Open this month, inclusive social club Groundfloor ($200/month) was created to help adults build authentic friendships in a face-to-face setting. The club’s renovated loft-style building in Echo Park offers ample space for socializing throughout its 10,000 square feet. Grounfloor includes a lounge, workspace, a kitchen and a library. Members-only events run the gamut from monthly supper clubs and comedy shows to art classes—all designed to foster conversations that go beyond the tired “what do you do for work?” groundfloorclub.com
Sailor’s Brew Coffee
In 2018, Pasadena native Trévon Sailor and his brothers Tevin and Travis launched Sailor’s Brew Coffee. The black-owned, family-operated business sells its additive-free, slow-roasted, single-origin beans online nationwide, but locals can visit their Lincoln Avenue location. Individual bags are available to buy. If you’re indecisive, you can opt for the “Taste of Ethiopia” sampler pack ($65), a trio of different roast levels including Limu (light), Yirgacheffe (medium) and Guji (dark). sailorsbrewcoffee.com
